Attorney Who Understands Your Situation

William Douglas Bloodworth II
Attorney Bloodworth is passionate about helping people facing stressful circumstances. His empathy is due in part to his own past, where he faced difficult legal and personal challenges during a contentious divorce. Though divorce was not an option he would have chosen, he accomplished what he believes was the best possible outcome in his own divorce, through patience and a desire to do what was in the best interest of his child.

Meet Our Staff

Rachel E. Barron, Associate Attorney and Certified Mediator

Rachel BarronAttorney Barron focuses on providing holistic legal representation by educating her clients and strategically partnering with non-attorney professionals to help her clients make informed decisions that are in their best interests. This approach allows her clients to confidently navigate through their legal matters and plan for a better future when their case is concluded.

When she is not helping high net worth clients navigate complex property division issues, or assisting parents who are working through custody litigation, Attorney Barron assists clients in preparing Cohabitation Agreements, Prenuptial Agreements, and Marital Property Agreements. Mrs. Barron also provides mediation services to help families resolve their disputes without protracted litigation, and she is the author of The Gentleman’s Guide To Divorce.

Rachel completed her Juris Doctorate at Regent University School of Law in just under two years, she also holds a Master of Arts from Regent University and a Bachelor of Science from Western Governors University. After she joined Bloodworth Law Firm, P.L.L.C. as a legal secretary in August of 2012, Rachel E. Barron was Board Certified in Family Law as a paralegal by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2018. During law school, she earned the Ronald L. Fick Book Award for achieving the highest grade in her Family Law course and was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys date nights with her husband John, and family game nights with her three children.
